On Saturday, August 17, 2019, Craft Breweries from across Louisiana will be represented in Alexandria, at the Alexandria Museum of Art.
Praised as one of the top beer events in Louisiana, Alexandria Museum of Art’s annual Craft Brews, BBQ, & Blues Summer fundraiser, featuring CENLA’s original Craft Beer competition, returns on August 17, 2019.
Now in its 7th year, AMoA's Craft Brews, BBQ, & Blues invites Louisiana Craft Breweries to compete in five categories: Dark, Ale, IPA, Specialty, and People's Choice.
This craft beer in Central Louisiana will feature popular beers currently available here, as well as some beers never before offered in Alexandria. Guests will sample these great brews and decide where their vote will go, and who will take home the ribbons this year.
In addition to the Craft Beers, five local barbecue teams will be on site cooking up their best dishes to pit against each other when the event is opened to ticket holders. Attendees will also be able to try all of the dishes, vote for their favorite.
To top it all off, the evening will revolve around live music.
