Art Lessons in Your Class
The Alexandria Museum of Art has off ered the ArtExpress Program for over 14 years. It is a wonderful FREE learning tool for 4th and 5th grade students. Simply contact Anne Reid, ArtExpress Coordinator, and set up a date for a visit toyour school. AMoA’s Art Education Department will go to your classroom and lead a ten minute session about an artist and their techniques. Then, using the tools learned, students will do a hands-on project to take home. AMoA will provide all of the supplies needed.
